Situation
You need to create a quotation PDF before placing an order.

Note: This feature is only available for certain Distributor accounts

- Log in to the Accounts Portal and follow the regular Exinda/GFI ClearView order process for your order
Note: in step 3 make sure to change the Contract Effective Date to the current date of expiry because that is the date the license will be renewed from - Instead of completing the order in step 4 click on Publish Quote
Note: if you make changes in step 4 (for example, the quantity of one of the items), click the Preview Order button for the values to be updated and the Publish Quote button will reappear. - On the confirmation dialogue, click Confirm then Go to Quote
- On the page that opens click Download Quote to download the PDF
- Make a note of the quote number (top right) for future reference
Note: You can find your quote by going to Manage > Orders > Quotes button and using the search box to enter the quote number.
If you do not remember your quote number, leave the search box blank and scroll through the list to locate it.
For other GFI products, there is an option to convert a quote directly into an order. This feature is currently under development for Exinda, GFI ClearView and GFI FaxMaker Online orders.
