How can I generate my GFI HelpDesk key file using my custom domain?

Situation

You have a GFI HelpDesk, GFI Unlimited or partner NFR subscription and need to create a GFI HelpDesk key file using your custom domain.

Resolution

Important Note: these instructions are only applicable to the initial key file generation. If your domain has changed and you need to regenerate your key file, contact Customer Care.

1. Log in to the GFI Accounts Portal
2. On the left side menu, click on Subscriptions and under the relevant GFI HelpDesk/Unlimited/NFR subscription click ellipses > Details
   
3. On the Overview page that opens, scroll down (if applicable) to locate GFI HelpDesk, click Generate and in the pop-up click Next
   
4. In the Configuration pop-up, enter up to 2 comma separated, custom domains in the GFI HelpDesk Domains field and click Generate
   
   Note: localhost is already added by default
5. On the License summary pop-up click the Generate Download Url link
   
6. Once it becomes available, click the Download link to download the key.php file
